Calcutta Night Returns to Burleigh Heads Bowls Club
Get ready for an exciting evening as Burleigh Dragons proudly presents the return of Calcutta Night at Burleigh Heads Bowls Club! After last year’s incredible success, with total bids reaching $11,475, we’re set to make 2026 even bigger and better.
Special Guest: Kelvin Kerkow OAM
This year’s event features a special guest appearance by Kelvin Kerkow OAM, a legendary figure in Australian lawn bowls. As a dual World Champion and Commonwealth Games gold medalist, Kelvin’s insights, stories, and passion for the game will make the night truly unforgettable.

Evening Schedule
- 5:30 PM: Q&A with Kelvin Kerkow OAM
- 6:00 PM: Memorabilia Auction
- 6:15 PM: Calcutta Raffle Draw
- 6:30 PM: Calcutta Group Auction
The singles draw will commence following the auction. Groups of three will be auctioned, and Calcutta tickets are available at the reception for $5 each. Everyone is welcome, and entry is free! However, booking is essential at the reception.
