
The Burleigh Dragons have emerged victorious after 3 weeks of State district sides and State Championships. Dale Shillington and Dean Mcwhinney clinched the title of State Pairs Champions, while Ian Law, Gary Pearson, and Gary Law secured the position of State Triples Runners-up. Emma Boyd and Dale Shillington claimed 3rd place in the State Mixed Pairs event. Other notable achievements include Gary Pearson finishing 4th in Singles, Adam Moody and Darren Clinckett finishing 4th in Pairs, and Bradley Lawson, Dean Mcwhinney, and Dale Shillington finishing 4th in Triples.
A round of applause goes out to all the participants for their hard-fought games and dedication to the sport. The experience gained throughout the events is invaluable, and the Burleigh Dragons have certainly made their mark in the State Championships.
