Burleigh Heads Bowls Club is excited to welcome Barrie Lester as our Bowls Coordinator. Barrie joined our team late in 2019 and just as he was getting into the swing of things COVID-19 hit. During the Club shutdown from March until July Barrie, along with our Club Manager, Justin O’Donnell and a band of volunteers, kept busy helping jazz up the Club so it would be fresh when Members were able to return. He also kept his finger on the pulse of what was happening on the bowls front in Queensland and the rest of Australia.
